Today's the day I'm tellin him how I feel... I may not look good but if I smile, I'm real sure I'll look better. I've got three good smiles, I just need to choose one. I try
1) My happy, carefree Miley Cyrus smile with top and bottom teeth showin.
2) My cool-as-a-breeze sexy Rihanna smile. With that one it's just your top teeth and not the full set, just like four or maybe six teeth showin.
3) My no teeth smile. It's kind of mysterious. A lot of really beautiful women do this one. Not sure I can get away with it.
I'm goin to go with the Rihanna smile. Sophisticated but still friendly. Hasan will eat that up."

Such a unique and hilarious and truthful voice! Kara Miller understands Girls, sex, race, family. A very smart and worthy read-- not just for young adults but old adults too!
Cute, reminds me of something like Adam Sandler's Grown Ups......... more relevant to young adults. Quick ,easy,mindless reading in this novel.
After reading Bang, I thought this would be fun. It is awful, couldn't get through the first 50 pages.
I can't wait to share it with my young goddaughter. I think she needs it and I know she'll love it.

A realistic story of a thirteen-aged girl in New York who decides that getting gorgeous boobs is what she needs to be noticed by the boy she has adored for years. Along the way on her quest she finds a new and unlikely sister and learns a lot about what is important in relationships. Hey, being thirteen is a steep learning curve.
This is my first review ever, which is ironic because I bought this book on whim and wasn't even sure i was going to like it because the protagonists were so young (13 and 15). but wow, it is wonderfully written, full of rich observations and character development and attachments that make sense. i UNDERSTOOD why they liked each other and why they hated each other. And being in their heads didn't make it at all feel like i was being inundated with information.
also i was genuinely offended like ALL the time (because omg some people in here are so non-pc), but that somehow made it more appealing? sometimes we're so far up in our PC heads we never confront the issues that the PCness is covering? no that i dont appreciate it in real life, but in the book it was very enlightening.
i honestly have anything in particular else to say. its really good. read it. it goes like very very fast.
